Vannivåene er nå på vei ned igjen, og prognosene peker videre nedover. Det betyr at det ikke lengre produseres ukontrollert mye strøm i elvekraftverkene og vannkraftprodusentene tar tilbake «kontrollen på vannet». Totalt for landet, er også fyllingsgraden over det normale. Det sørligste prisområdet er det området med den største kapasiteten i vannmagasinene, og samtidig også den største kapasiteten på produksjon (vannturbiner). Området har også flere av de store flerårsmagasinene vi har i Norge.
