Upbeat Statkraft hails its offshore wind era at Sheringham Shoal

(Recharge - London) Norwegian utility Statkraft claims it is poised to reap the rewards of a transition to renewables as it prepares to cut the ribbon at its Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm in the UK.

Statkraftand partner Statoil will officially open the 317MW Sheringham Shoal off easternEngland on 27 September, with the former describing it as a “milestone” in theevolution of a business that it expects to form a cornerstone of its futurestrategy.
