Many gas-fired power plants are likely to be built in the UK in the early 2020s as a result, of a capacity gap that is expected to arise before the country’s new nuclear power plant, the 21.5 billion-euro Hinkley Point C, is set to be finished, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) reported.
